Shkëndija’s head coach, Jeton Beqiri, after the 1–5 defeat, said that Qarabağ fully deserved the victory:

“If we lost 1–5, I don’t have much to say about the game. We played very poorly in the first half and conceded four goals. Starting tomorrow, we will analyze the match and try to find motivation for the Europa League play-off stage. I wish Qarabağ success.”

He also admitted that he did not expect to lose by such a large margin.
