Defender of the Georgian national team, Saba Goglichidze, has transferred to Udinese. Previously playing for Empoli, the 21-year-old footballer signed a contract with the Udine club until 2030. The transfer is said to be worth €4 million. In a statement released by the Italian club’s press service, Goglichidze was praise: “Saba is a modern central defender with excellent physical, technical skills, and speed,” the official announcement read.
Goglichidze is originally from Torpedo Kutaisi’s academy. He has been playing in the Apennine Peninsula since 2024 and has already made three appearances for the Georgian national team. Saba made 33 appearances for Empoli last seasons.
